As Colleen Carlton on the CBS soap The Young and the Restless, Lyndsy Fonseca lights up the small screen as the troubled yet endearing daughter of Traci Abbott and Brad Carlton. And in a recurring guest role on the hit Fox drama Boston Public, Lyndsy’s character dates the resident bad boy. Onscreen, Lyndsy projects both a magnetic charm and an engaging innocence that wows audiences and makes her ideal for such enigmatic roles. Growing up in Northern California with a rich Portuguese background, Lyndsy never imagined her Tinseltown future. After enrolling in the Barbizon School for Modeling in San Francisco, there was no looking back for this ingenuous beauty. She went on to star in such community theatre productions as Friends at the Moraga Playhouse and even The Wizard of Oz. Lyndsy also counts several commercials in her resume, including spots for Captain Crunch cereal, Radio Shack and Bayer aspirin. Like her character on The Young and the Restless, Lyndsy is a talented dancer and was named “Young Miss Dancer of the Year” by the International Modeling & Talent Association. and NYPD Blue, it looks like Lyndsy is continuing to win over audiences
