Fox Home Entertainment and Venevision International will release three compelling films from Spain’s premiere filmmakers June 1. The collection features the critically-acclaimed En La Ciudad Sin Limites (City of No Limits), a tantalizing mystery involving love, sex, betrayal and politics from writer-director Antonio Hernánde. Fausto 5.0 is an original Spanish take on the classic tale of Dr. Faustus, starring Eduard Fernández and marking the directorial debut of directors Álex Ollé, Isidiro Ortiz and Carlos Padrisa. The third film is Guerreros (Warriors), the tragic story of a platoon of Spanish soldiers during the 2000 Kosovo war. The three features will be available on DVD for a suggested retail price of $19.98 each.

Playboy Jazzes it Up
The 26th Annual Playboy Jazz Festival presents another all-star musical lineup June 19 and 20 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Bill Cosby and Kevin Eubanks share the title of Master of Ceremonies for the two-day affair. This year’s show, coinciding with Playboy Magazine’s 50th anniversary celebration, spotlights the past, present and future of jazz, mixing performances by legendary superstars and innovative newcomers. Scheduled events will showcase the many different genres of jazz, including performances by Wynton Marsalis, Etta James, Yerba Buena and Jose Rizo’s Jazz on the Latin Side All-Stars, among many others. The Playboy Jazz Festival is again sponsoring several free events in the Los Angeles area as part of its ongoing support of community outreach programs. Most notable are appearances by Cuban-American sensation Karina Nuvo, Poncho Sanchez and the Tres-Dos Latin Jazz Band at the Old Pasadena Summer Fest May 29–31. Chicano Art Exhibit
San Diego’s Museum of Contemporary Art welcomes “Chicano,” an interactive multimedia exhibit, from May 30th through September 12th. A celebration of Chicano influence and culture in the United States, the exhibit takes a look at several media, including traditional art, photography, music and film. The brainchild of Cheech Marin, “Chicano” also features artists such as George Lopez, Paul Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez and Giselle Fernandez. Drama en DVD
Fox Home Entertainment junto a Venevision International tienen tres películas significativas de una serie de los principales cineastas de España que saldrán a la venta en DVD el primero de junio de 2004. Esta colección de películas destaca la aclamada por los críticos En La Ciudad Sin Límites, del escritor-director Antonio Hernández, una película de misterio, amor, traición y política. Fausto 5.0 es una versión original española de la historia clásica del Dr. Fausto, una película que marca el debut de los directores Alex Ollé, Isidoro Ortiz y Carlos Padrisa y el que protagoniza Eduardo Fernández. La tercera de esta colección es Guerreros (Warriors), la trágica historia de un pelotón de soldados españoles en el medio de la guerra de Kosovo en el año 2000. Playboy celebra con Jazz
El 26avo. Festival Anual de Jazz de Playboy de este año coincide con el 50avo. aniversario de la revista Playboy, que ha incluido a una gran lista de celebridades. Exhibición de arte chicano
El museo de Arte Contemporáneo de San Diego le da la bienvenida a “Chicano” — una exhibición interactiva de multimedia — desde el 30 de mayo hasta el 12 de septiembre. “Chicano”, que es una celebración de la influencia y cultura chicana en Estados Unidos, presenta diversos medios, incluyendo el arte tradicional, fotografía, música y cine. La exhibición, que fue concebida por Cheech Marín, también destaca a artistas tales como George Lopez, Paul Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez y Giselle Fernandez.
